On November 6, GAC Group and Chery Automobile jointly announced the conclusion of the first strategic alliance in the domestic automotive industry. Zeng Qinghong said that cooperation with Chery Automobile is comprehensive. At present, the two parties have signed two agreements. “We don't need to build factories anymore.†Zeng Qinghong said that Chery Automobile has resources in South America and Europe, and the use of Chery's KD parts (parts originally imported from abroad) can greatly reduce tariffs. Domestic auto companies should be screwed into overseas markets without the need to build factories.
