LANXESS Introduces Glass-reinforced PA6 for the Electrical Industry

Leverkusen, Germany. LANXESS is introducing several PA6 series Durethan EasyFlow and Durethan Xtreme Flow with excellent flow properties, with a glass fiber content of 30-60%. Currently, LANXESS is working on the electrical engineering and electronics industries to reduce losses in its production process and produce safer parts and equipment. LANXESS's technical expert Ralf Jantz pointed out: "We follow the dynamics of the market to expand and improve our products in a timely manner, such as improving the fluidity of materials used in thin-shell technology, and making the PBT series of plugs used under hot and humid conditions. It has excellent stability, uses high-hardness thermoplastic materials instead of metal materials, and introduces halogen-free flame retardants that meet the latest standards."
Due to the improvement of materials, the flow path is up to 80% longer than similar standard materials without any loss of mechanical properties. The use of new materials can make products thinner, lighter and more stable, and can be easily fabricated into smaller electronic parts. It can be processed at lower pressures and temperatures, the production cycle can be shortened, and maintenance costs can be reduced. Because the hole pressure and friction loss are greatly reduced. A typical application is the use of Durethan DP BKV 30 XF in the central cavity of the vacuum cleaner. The PA 6 series has 60% more fluidity than the traditional PA 6 with a glass fiber content of 30%.
More fluid fillers can be added with good fluidity. The process can still be simple and has low friction losses. This is mainly due to their higher hardness and strength, such as Durethan DP BKV 60 H2.0 EF (PA 6) and Pocan DP B 3160 XF (PBT). The latter has an elastic modulus of 18,500 Mpa and a tensile strength of 160 Mpa. This type of material is now used instead of metal shields because of its low price and low energy consumption during processing. The 45% glass-reinforced Pocan T7391 highly-filled PBT can be used as a stator and rotor for vacuum cleaner blower motors.

Artificial Grass For padel tennis

Artificial grass is a type of turf made of synthetic material that is commonly used in sports stadiums, golf courses, parks and other places. Using artificial grass on the tennis court can bring the following advantages:

1. Strong durability: Artificial grass has extremely high durability and can withstand the use of high intensity and changes in different climatic conditions.

2. Low maintenance costs: Compared with natural lawns, artificial grass requires lower maintenance costs and does not require frequent mowing, fertilization, watering, etc.

3. Good environmental protection: Artificial grass does not need to use chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and has less pollution to the environment.

4. Use flexibility: Artificial grass can be used on different sites, regardless of soil quality and climatic conditions.

5. Improve the quality of the game: artificial grass has high surface smoothness, stable ball speed and bouncing performance, which is conducive to improving the quality of the game.

Therefore, the use of artificial grass on tennis courts has become a trend, favored by more and more players and venues.
