The characteristics of this magnetic separator are large processing capacity, high quality of concentrate, simple mechanical structure, many sorting indexes, large influence on the amount of ore, and sensitive. The direction of the ore is opposite to the direction of rotation of the cylinder, and the slurry is fed directly from the feeding tank to the magnetic system of the cylinder. The non-magnetic ore and weak magnetic ore particles are discharged from the bottom hole of the bottom of the magnetic system. Because the discharge end of the magnetic separator is closer to the ore gate and the magnetic system is poor, the concentrate has a low taste, but his tailings are far from the ore, and the slurry passes through a longer sorting area. With the addition of magnetism, the chance of the ore particles being attracted is increased, and the tailings mouth is farther from the discharge end, and the magnetic ore particles may be mixed into the tailings. Therefore, this magnetic separator high metal recoveries, but concentrate called low taste.

This magnetic separator is suitable for rough selection and sweeping of ferromagnetic minerals with a particle size of less than 0.6 mm. Not suitable for coarse ore, the particle size is coarse and easy to deposit, thus blocking the sorting area.

Semi-reverse flow magnetic separator features and scope of application

Its feeding position is the intermediate feeding, and the slurry enters the sorting area from the lower part of the tank. The direction of the magnetic field in the ore-mining direction is basically the same, the pulp is often in a suspended state, and the magnetic ore particles are easily attracted to the surface of the cylinder, and are eliminated by following the cylinder to the weakest point of the magnetic field at the edge of the magnetic system. Non-magnetic ore particles or weak magnetic ore particles flow into the sweeping area against the direction of rotation of the cylinder and are discharged through the tailings holes on the bottom plate. Therefore, it is advantageous to reduce the taste of tailings and improve the metal recovery rate. The semi-reverse bottom tank combines the advantages of the downstream and counter-current bottom tanks, and its concentrate has a relatively high taste. At present, it is an ideal bottom box type, and the working gap between the bottom plate and the cylinder of the semi-reverse bottom box can be adjusted within the range of 25-40 mm. This magnetic separator not only uses the rough selection of 0.5-0 mm ferromagnetic minerals, but is especially suitable for the selection of 0.5-0 mm ferromagnetic minerals.

However, the same semi-reverse flow magnetic separator is used in different places (rough selection, selection), and its field strength is different, depending on the nature of the ore and the field strength used for different position selection methods.
