Motorcycle chain knowledge

Motorcycle chain knowledge The chain is one of the main components on the motorcycle. The quality of the chain directly affects the durability, comfort and reliability of the motorcycle. Therefore, some little knowledge about the chain is what the locomotive family must master.

At present, there are many manufacturers of motorcycle chain sprocket, and the quality is uneven. When selecting, we must look for manufacturers with quality reputation. In addition, the chain is durable and reliable, with the user's use of maintenance and installation methods are also very important. Here we talk about the installation, maintenance and adjustment of the chain.

First, we must pay attention when installing the chain and sprocket

select both matches, and to ensure that sprocket and tire (wheel mounting) of concentricity, otherwise it will cause the chain to a tight one song and make it early Wear.

When installing, put the sprocket on the non-wearing sprocket seat, install the sprocket fixing screw, put on the locking washer, do not screw the screw too tightly, and then install the tire and then install the chain, and After slightly tightening the chain, slowly turn the rear wheel to observe the tightness of the chain. If the chain is loose, it means that the sprocket and the tire (sprocket) are not the same. When adjusting, rotate the rear wheel to the tightest point of the chain. Use a mallet or rubber hoe to gently strike the sprocket forward to loosen the chain (iron hammers are not available, otherwise it will damage the chain sprocket). Turn the rear wheel to see if the chain is still loose and tight. Repeat several times until the chain is roughly steady. Tighten the sprocket fixing screws and lock the gasket. Then check the tightness of the chain. In this way, the tire and sprockets are basically concentric, and the car will run easily.

Second, the maintenance

the best conditions for maintenance chain for lubricants. In real life, we often see the user's engine waste oil brushed on the chain, so that the tires, frame is also covered with black oil, both affect the appearance and make the chain glued to a thick dust . Especially in rain and snow, the sticky sand makes the chain sprocket wear early and shorten its lifespan.

The correct maintenance method is:

After mixing in a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio with clean 4t oil and hydraulic or transformer oil (sold in stores), use a clean brush to uniformly place the lubricating oil on the rollers in the middle of the chain. A thin layer of oil film is formed to protect the chain. After a period of use, it will be dripped again when the film is dry. The principle is "less oil, more times", and keep the chain tight, so that the chain and sprockets will be clean and durable.

Third, the motorcycle chain adjustment should be suitable

motorcycle chain should be required to adjust periodically, asking them to maintain good linearity and tightness in the adjustment process. The so-called straightness is to ensure that the size of the tooth plate and the chain in the same line, the only way to ensure that the tooth plate and chain will not wear too fast and do not drop the chain during driving. The requirement for tightness is generally adjusted by looking at the degree of elasticity of the chain. The correct adjustment should be to pull the chain up and down by hand so that the distance up and down the chain is within the range of 15 mm to 20 mm. Too loose or too tight will speed up the wear and damage of the chain and chainring.

1, the chain is too loose

The loose adjustment of the motorcycle chain is generally rare, but if it is not adjusted for a long time, the chain will be stretched due to wear or deformation. A lot of drivers could not be adjusted in time due to lack of maintenance knowledge and they appeared to have lost the chain. Regardless of the old and new chains and chainrings, as long as the chain is removed from the toothed plate once, it is generally not reusable as required because in the process of shedding, the chain is bent by the tooth plate and the chain is bent, regardless of the front and rear chainrings. How accurate the adjustment is, the chain with a bend will inevitably bite the tooth plate, which not only damages the chain, but also shortens the service life of the tooth plate. At the same time, in the process of losing the chain, the chain may be broken. The interruption of the chain is even more troublesome. Sometimes it can not be repaired in time because of the distance from the maintenance station. Jh70 motorcycles will also break the chain and the magnetic motor cover and stator disc trigger coil holder broken, increasing the difficulty of maintenance, resulting in unnecessary economic losses.

2, the chain tight chain adjustment too tight

more common. There are roughly three reasons for this:

(1) Don't understand the common sense of repair yourself. Adjust the chain by mistake. This is a concept of muddling, only know that the chain adjustment is the scope of maintenance, I do not know how to adjust is the correct standard.

(2) Because the chainring chain wears badly, but time or economy does not allow it, or if the alien type car does not have the same type of gear plate at that time, the chain will be tightened to avoid strong driving of the vehicle.

(3) When replacing the chain to the chainring, mistakenly dislocate the eccentric gear rack to the motorcycle, causing the chain to become tight and loose. When checking and adjusting, the end of the box is loose and the other end is too tight. No matter which of the above reasons causes the chain to adjust too tightly, it will greatly reduce the service life of the chain and the chainring. When the chain is adjusted too tightly, the contact pressure with the tooth plate increases, the chain is easy to elongate, the link plate is easily deformed or broken, and the chain roller is also broken. In addition, the toothed discs will wear out too early and make the tooth shape sharper and, in severe cases, serrated.

In addition, the tight adjustment of the chain will also damage the countershaft bearings and the needle rollers (bushings), and the life of the rear wheel buffer bearings will be greatly reduced. This situation is mainly due to the fact that after the chain is tightened, it will form a large forced drag torque between the countershaft and the rear wheel buffer. Under the influence of this torque, the bearing's working characteristics are destroyed. Face stress, easy to heat damage. Even if it is not broken, it will cause the gap to increase in a short time. After the bearing clearance increases, the working linearity of the countershaft is destroyed, and the needle roller bearing will be quickly damaged. At this time, the fault will be transferred to the engine by the chain gear plate.... Thus, the motorcycle can be correctly and timely adjusted. The tightness of the chain is very important.

3. How to correctly adjust the motorcycle chain?

(1) It is advisable to adjust the tightness of the motorcycle chain to 15mm to 20mm at the right time. Check the buffer bearing and grease the grease on time. Because of the poor working environment of the bearing, once the lubrication is lost, the damage may be great. Once the bearing is damaged, it will cause the rear gear plate to tilt, and then it will make the gear chain chain side wear, while the weight is easy to make the chain fall off.

(2) When adjusting the chain, in addition to adjusting the scale of the frame chain to adjust the chain, it is also necessary to observe whether the front and rear chainrings and chains are on the same straight line, because if the frame or the rear wheel fork is damaged, deform it and then press the scale Adjusting the chain will enter a misunderstanding, mistakenly thinking that the chain chain is on the same straight line. In fact, the straightness has been destroyed. Therefore, this check is very important (in the best adjustment, remove the chain box). If any problem is found, it should be immediately corrected. Afterwards, make sure that nothing goes wrong.

Veneer Veneer Glue

Veneer glue is a special water-based polyvinyl acetate, one-part, high-solids, fast-drying adhesive.

Hand-paved veneer glue is a kind of hand-paved veneer mainly used for convex curved surface, hand-paved technical veneer, special-shaped veneer, veneer repair and other hand-paved veneer processes. Compared with the universal glue, the real cow hand-paved veneer glue has the characteristics of environmental protection, non-toxic and harmless, high final strength, good solvent resistance and heat resistance. Compared with ordinary white latex, it has less cloth glue , Quick drying, easy operation, high production efficiency, repairable and so on.
