On November 14, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers announced that domestic car sales in the first ten months reached 18.98 million, an increase of 6.6%. Among them, the sales volume of passenger cars was 15.9 million, an increase of 9.8% year-on-year. In October, the monthly sales of passenger cars reached 1.71 million, an increase of 6.4% year-on-year.
1. Automobile production and sales maintained a small increase year-on-year. Automobile production in October increased slightly compared with the previous month. Sales volume was basically the same as that of the previous month. Compared with the same period of last year, the sales volume continued to maintain a slight increase, which was slightly higher than the previous month. In the first ten months, the cumulative production and sales growth rate of automobiles dropped below 8%. In October, the production and sales of automobiles were 2.044 million and 1.872 million, respectively, up 1.9% and 0.2% respectively from the previous month, and up 6.7% and 2.8% respectively over the same period of the previous year. From January to October, China's automobile production and sales were 19.2 million and 18.89 million respectively, an increase of 7.9% and 6.6% respectively over the same period of the previous year. The growth rate was 5.7 and 6.9 percentage points lower than the same period of the previous year.
2. Passenger car production and sales maintained steady growth year-on-year. In October, passenger car production and sales completed 1,757,800 and 1,708,900 respectively, up 1.9% and 0.8% respectively from the previous month, up 10.4% and 6.4% respectively over the same period of the previous year. The year-on-year growth rate increased by 1 percentage point from the previous month, and sales were unchanged from last month, and the overall growth was steady.
From January to October, the production and sales of passenger cars were 16.14 million and 15.8644 million respectively, up 11.2% and 9.8% respectively over the same period of the previous year.
From January to October, the production and sales of passenger cars were based on the production and sales of SUVs, which were 35.8% and 33.7% respectively. The growth rate of MPV production and sales was 52.6% and 49.6% respectively. The growth rate of production and sales of cars was 5% and 3.5% respectively. Production and sales of passenger cars decreased by 17.9% and 16% respectively.
3. The production and sales of commercial vehicles continued to fall. The production and sales of commercial vehicles in October were 286,400 and 278,300 respectively. The output increased by 1.3% compared with the previous month. The sales volume decreased by 3.2% compared with the previous month. Compared with the same period of last year, the production and sales decreased by 11.7%. And 14.9%, narrowed by the decline in September.
From January to October, the production and sales of commercial vehicles were 3,216,200 and 3,213,700, respectively, down 6.3% and 7.1% from the same period of the previous year, and the decline was further expanded than the previous nine months.
From January to October, the production and sales of commercial vehicles were increased. The production and sales of passenger cars increased by 6.5% and 7.2% respectively, and the production and sales of trucks decreased by 8.3% and 9.3% respectively.
4. Automobile exports decreased year-on-year According to the statistics of automobile manufacturers of the China Automobile Association, the export of automobile enterprises in October was 73,500 units, down 5.9% from the previous month and down 18% from the same period of the previous year. In terms of models, passenger cars exported 43,700 vehicles this month, down 9.7% from the previous month and down 25.3% from the same period of the previous year; commercial vehicles exported 29,800, up 0.3% from the previous month and down 4.2% from the same period of the previous year. .
From January to October, the cumulative export of automobiles was 736,400, a decrease of 8.7% over the same period of the previous year. Among them, passenger car exports were 435,500, down 11.6% from the same period of the previous year; commercial vehicle exports were 309,900, down 4.1% from the same period of the previous year.
According to customs data, in September 2014, a total of 111,400 vehicles were imported, an increase of 6.4% over the same period of the previous year; the export of automobiles was 90,600, an increase of 22.9% over the same period of the previous year. From January to September, the total import of automobiles was 1,062,200, an increase of 26% over the same period of the previous year; the total export of automobiles was 691,700, down 3.0% from the same period of the previous year.
5. The top ten enterprises in the industry continued to maintain rapid growth. From January to October, the top ten group sales of automobile sales totaled 17.068 million, an increase of 8.7% over the same period of the previous year and 2.1 percentage points higher than the growth rate of the whole industry. It accounted for 90% of the total vehicle sales, an increase of 1.7 percentage points over the same period of the previous year.
6. Major economic indicators of key enterprises maintained rapid growth According to the statistics of the China Automobile Association, the key economic indicators of key enterprises (groups) of the automobile industry from January to September showed that the total industrial output value and operating income of 17 key enterprises (groups) were higher than the same period of the previous year. It increased by 12.2% and 11.8% respectively; the total profit and tax increased by 10.8% over the same period of the previous year. The main indicators maintained a relatively fast growth trend, but compared with the previous eight months, there was a certain decline.
7. The production, sales and export of motorcycles declined in October, and the sales and sales of motorcycles decreased year-on-year and year-on-year. The production and sales in the month were 1,791,200 and 1,790,900, down 2.5% and 3.7% from the previous month, down 4.3% and 4.6% from the same period of the previous year.
