Geely Automobile News According to Reuters, Honda is planning to recall 2,800 2011 Odyssey MPVs in the U.S. market due to hidden dangers in the window glass, which may cause it to fail to lift or fall off.

Following the recall of 33,411 Odyssey MPVs in North America due to wiper failure last week, local autos on March 26th said that due to the risk of disconnection of the front door electric window glass, the window glass could not lift or even fall off. The company will again recall 2,800 2011 Odysseys and replace its window glass to prevent danger to the interior of the cabin.

Honda said in a document submitted to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) of the United States that the North American company of Pilkington in Kentucky supplied the wrong electric power lifting glass to Honda. Prime fluid causes the window glass to detach from the controller.

However, NHTSA stated that the hidden danger has not yet caused casualties. Honda will formally recall the work before April 15 to replace one or both side window glass for the relevant vehicle.
