Chestnut Mine Tiger Head Concentrator
Tiger head processing plant was built in 1966, it has been expanded by the design metallurgical and Design Institute of Guangxi, the production scale of 1000t / d.
First, the nature of the ore "chestnut-based tin ore, tantalum, niobium, tungsten granite polymetallic deposit mainly metallic minerals are cassiterite, Stannite, colloidal tin, niobium, manganese ore, manganese, tantalum, titanium, tantalum and niobium ore, ferroniobium Minerals, fine spar, black tungsten ore, etc. The main gangue minerals are quartz , feldspar and a small amount of topaz, etc. The ore grade generally contains 0.115% tin, contains 0.0204% bismuth pentoxide, and contains 0.017% tungsten trioxide. Crystal grain size of main metal minerals: cassiterite is generally less than 0.2mm, bismuth manganese ore is 0.2-0.05mm, manganese bismuth ore is 0.15-0.01mm, titanium bismuth ore is 0.1-0.3mm, fine-grain is 0.12-0.18mm, black tungsten ore is 0.05 ~0.1mm. The bismuth dispersed in the cassiterite and the wolframite accounts for about 50% of the strontium in the ore.
Second, the process: the use of a joint smelting process to recover tin, tungsten, bismuth, antimony, from the rough selection plant, selected plants, water and metallurgical plant. The process is shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2.

Figure 2 Selected process of tin, tantalum and tungsten coarse concentrate in Litou Mine Tiger Head Concentrator;
The ore processed by the plant has many kinds of useful minerals, fine crystal grain size, and the symbiotic relationship between the useful minerals. The bismuth is dispersed in the cassiterite and black tungsten minerals by about 50%. The mixed concentrates of tin, antimony and tungsten are selected, and the tin, antimony and tungsten mixed concentrates are further separated by the smelting plant. The main feature of the beneficiation process is that each section of the ore is provided with pre-selected screening. Before the ore is put into the rod mill, the fine-grained grade of the crushed ore product is pre-screened out. The rod mill and the curved screen form a closed-circuit grinding cycle. The ball mill and the grading bucket and the shaker constitute a closed-circuit grinding, which replaces the process of the second-stage grinding, the second-stage sorting and the centralized treatment of the slime of the original spiral classifier. The process is aimed at the characteristics of brittleness of cassiterite, antimony mineral and wolframite in the ore. In the process of grinding, the useful minerals are avoided. The quality of the grading effect also affects the selection criteria of each segment. Whether the slime can be concentrated as much as possible without loss is directly related to the grading. Before the materials are selected, the grading is carried out three times. Before the re-election, the grading is carried out. The first time is classified by a cyclone, and the second and third times are classified by a grading box.
