Since the beginning of this year, Shanxi Coking Group has strengthened its production management by means of technological transformation of its installations. This has enabled the continuous improvement of production control capabilities. As of December 23, Shanxi Coking's 300,000 tons/year tar processing plant has completed tar processing of 300,000 tons. The tar production facility with the largest single processing capacity in the country reached the design and production capacity for the first time.

In the past, because the raw materials could not meet the production requirements, the Shanxi Coking Tar Processing Plant has not been able to produce at full capacity. Since the beginning of this year, the Shanxi Coking Tar Processing Plant has strengthened the monitoring of raw tar and formulated a series of tar quality control systems to ensure that the tar into the factory quality pass rate of 100%. They also carried out technological transformation and research on the production system and solved the bottleneck that restricts the full-load operation of the production. The tar distillation distillation tower produced mixed oyster oil heat exchangers from parallel connection to series connection, which improved the tower efficiency and separation effect. The measures ensure that the tar processing plant is operating at full capacity.

In addition, the tar processing plant continued to optimize process indicators and process control to achieve a new record of production. The task of processing 270,000 tons of tar was completed 43 days ahead of schedule. The recovery rate of industrial naphthalene increased by one percentage point year-on-year, and the processing cost per ton of tar was reduced by six yuan. The qualified rate of the 15 products produced is 100%.
