From September 18 to September 21, 2015, the 12th China-ASEAN Expo and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (hereinafter referred to as “East Fair”) were held in Nanning. As one of Guangxi's local manufacturing representative companies, Yuchai has exhibited for 12 consecutive years. Through exhibition promotion and years of deep market cultivation, Yuchai’s overseas market has achieved outstanding results. This year's total overseas sales increased by 117.0% year-on-year and received extensive attention. This year's East China Fair highlights the theme of "Building a 21st Century Maritime Silk Road - Creating a Better Blueprint for Ocean Cooperation". Yuchai's Yuchai, Yuchai Heavy Industry, Yuchai Gas, Yuchai Monopoly and other companies are the main players. The product debuts at the exhibition. At the exhibition, Yuchai’s exhibition hall featured the theme of “green” and exhibited a variety of green powers such as engines for ships, engines for general passengers, passenger cars and trucks. Yuchai Gas and Yuchai Heavy Industry have also introduced a number of main products.

It is learned that with the geopolitical advantages of the East China Fair and China’s policy of “building the Maritime Silk Road”, Yuchai’s exports to the ASEAN market this year exceeded the total number of the previous year, and the total amount of overseas imports is expected to exceed 40,000 units throughout the year. The ASEAN countries such as the Vietnam market and Thailand have seen rapid growth this year. Vietnam’s exports have increased by 42% year-on-year, and the Thai market’s year-on-year increase has been as high as 327%. The Saudi Arabia region, an important node in the “Belt and Road” strategy, is an important market for Yuchai in the Middle East. Yuchai’s passenger car power is widely recognized in the region. In the first half of this year, Yuchai’s market share in Saudi Arabia is expected to increase by 10% on a 2014 basis.

Yuchai’s performance in overseas markets such as the ASEAN market has attracted attention from all parties. Chen Hanxiong, president of the Hong Kong Automobile Parts Industry Association, visited the exhibition hall to learn about Yuchai's products. He said that Chinese companies have become more and more eye-catching in overseas markets. This time he organized Hong Kong auto parts manufacturers to the East China Fair to understand, study and find new business opportunities.
